AutoGedal.ro
Completing the Magento platform, a redesign and the migration from Magento 1 to Magento 2.
About the project
AutoGedal.ro is an e-commerce platform that offers its customers a wide range of car accessories: tow bars, metal underbody guards, bike carriers, roof boxes, car mats and boot liners, as well as parts and other types of car accessories.
Our first meeting with AutoGedal
At our first meeting, AutoGedal set out the following requirements:
- completing the Magento platform, which was at an early stage when we took it over
- a redesign of the site to make the user experience as easy and smooth as possible
- the migration from Magento 1 to Magento 2
We got down to work and found what we would call the optimal solutions. The site structure was considerably changed and improved, on both the front end and the back end.
What we delivered
- Migration from Magento 1 to Magento 2
- A redesign for the easiest, smoothest possible experience
- Improved site structure, front end and back end
Systems and integrations
- Magento 2 - the store's platform
- Product review system
- Improved search engine
The result
- Multiple design changes to improve the user experience on the site
- Step-by-step improvements to the filters in the product categories
- Adding and editing blog articles that help customers install the various car accessories
- Implementing a complex yet easy-to-use system for product reviews
- Placing related products with the utmost care across the site, reflecting both AutoGedal's recommendations and customer preferences
- Improving the platform's search engine, to give users a fast and accurate experience
- Applying SEO best practice across every area of the platform
- Improving and automating the admin interface, making management easier for the AutoGedal team and meeting their wish to spend less time on the phone with customers
The move to Magento 2 brought a new, up-to-date and easy-to-use interface that covers all the needs of the business and of its customers. On top of that, the custom back-end work we delivered places the project among the leaders in its niche.
