Import and pricing

Products are imported by querying the NOD API and processing the data in Magento. For this, the module has a category mapping area and an attribute mapping area that matches NOD attributes with those in Magento. The module imports:

  • Titles
  • Names
  • Manufacturer
  • Description
  • SKU and EAN codes
  • Categories
  • Prices
  • Attributes - names
  • Attributes - values
  • Photos
  • Other custom attributes

The NOD integration module for Magento 2 follows the way Magento works and validates the data in every area. As a result, all data imported from NOD Distribution into Magento is technically compliant.

Automatically imported prices are handled in an area designed to save time, both when uploading new products and when updating prices. Prices can be set by brand, category, SKU and many other attributes, or by a combination of them.
